Amelia,
You have grown up so much in the last few months. You are definitely looking more like a little girl than a toddler. You want to be one of the big kids all the time. Some things I never want to forget:
- You "read" the scriptures to our family every night. More often than not, the Israelites get thrown under the bus but you know Jesus loves everyone. It is pretty fun to listen to.
- The twinkle in your eye when you smile one of your incredible smiles when you are teasing or know you did something wrong.
- Your excitement for preschool at Homestead Wakefield this year.
- The awesome swimmer you have become. You swim independently under parent supervision and you do so well!
- You love to have your picture taken with mannequins. Anytime we see one in a store or museum, you ask to have your picture taken with it.
This summer we went to Girls' Camp (mom and dad were the cooks), camped at Assateague Island State Park and went on a lot of local adventures. One of your best friends (Tessa Dalling) moved to Germany. The Durrett family visited us on their RV adventure. Aunt Sunny came to visit and we visited Mt. Vernon and Washington D.C.
Your 5th birthday is approaching and you ask everyday how many more sleeps we have until your birthday. I love your enthusiasm for life and you definitely keep us on our toes!
Love,
Mom
